So you've decided to adopt a new furry friend! Congratulations! - Get all the supplies you need before you bring your new pet home.

- Make sure your home is pet-proof.
Pets are curious creatures and they'll put their noses (and sometimes paws) into everything. Go through your home and make sure there's nothing dangerous that your pet could get into. Move any cleaning supplies, medications, poisonous plants, etc. out of reach. Block off any stairs or rooms that you don't want your pet to have access to.
